Andalusian or Pure Spanish?

The term Andalusian is a comprehensive term, rather than a breed type. It is generally used to include the PRE of Spain and the PSL, the Pure bred Lusitano horses of Portugal.

Pure Spanish is the English translation of Pura Raza Española - literally Pure Breed or Pure Race Spanish. The Pura Raza Española horses from Spain are also referred to as the PRE.

These horses, and registered cross-breeds, are also called Iberian horses. The United States has a form of registration that is specific to horses in that country - see IALHA and Foundation for the Pure Spanish Horse
