Armas Realejo - the update

Pure Spanish horse from Spain
A selection of photos of Armas Realejo, showing - among other things -
how his mane is growing to the full beauty of the traditional Spanish horse from Spain.
He is turning whiter, though he still retains that lovely
silver sheen that makes taking photos of him such a pleasure. He is one of those horses
who just always looks good.
Armas Realejo - our own PRE in training - is featured in more detail on his first page as a

The Mane of a Pure Spanish horse from Spain
One thing that contributes to the overall beauty of a Pure Spanish horse from Spain - or from wherever he was bred - is a long, thick mane. It can be silky smooth, or rougher and voluminous. People plait the manes - braid them as the Americans say - in various ways. For working, long plaits keep the hair out of the rider's way. That's what you see on
Realejo's first page.
Take a look at the longest mane I have ever seen on a PRE - Andalusian. Everyone who has seen the photo - literally thousands of people - agrees that this is the ultimmate example of an
Andalusian horse with a long mane.
