Grey Lusitano

grey lusitano

Grey Lusitano for sale

Young purebred, registered PSL stallion. Grey Lusitano (Andalusian). Bred and trained in Portugal by a dedicated dressage rider. Going forward well in basic dressage. Responsive and alert. Good to handle.

This is one of the andalusian horses at the stud we work with in Portugal. All these horses demonstrate the results of the consistent firm, sympathetic handling they receive around the yard and under saddle. They each have their own character, but the foundation of their environment is obvious in all of them.

Grey Lusitano - related Article Clip

GREY - TORDO - The classic colour of Andalusian Horses.
Spanish terms include:

    • white - blanco - can be a true snow white, with mane and tail to match
    • dark grey -tordo oscuro
    • picazo - freckled or fleabitten. The mother of one picazo Purebred Spanish Horse that I shoe was as freckled as he is - and she was champion mare of Spain.
    • tordo vinoso - literally 'wine-grey', a wine-red tinge to the grey - like this PRE youngster
