IberianHorse-Worldwide How-To
Iberian horse people reflect the nobility of their equines. And some of us cheerfully admit
to knowing as much about computer programs as those same equines. We're preparing an easy guide
to non-fret working with the Group facilities - contacting the moderators, loading photos, etc.
How To - TRIM A POST
Once you've pushed Reply and typed your answer into the
box - just scroll down and delete any part of the message
you're answering that isn't relevant.
How To - PHOTOS
This is a creative Group, and we encourage you to share your
creativity.
PHOTOS
The photo albums are available to everyone. I know we have some talented photographers among us, and
we're all looking forward to seeing their work.
ART Albums
If you are an artist who'd like to share your work - photos as
photos, photos of your pottery or plants or paintings or whatever,
please set up 2 albums - one for your personal photos (you and your
horse etc.), one for your art. Name the art album ART followed by
your name.
I've just set up my own ART album, ART iberiahorse as an example.
PERSONAL Albums
Albums to share your photos concerning you and your horse, with
other members of the group.
These albums are not intended for use in advertising for sale. For that, see our 'For
sale' guidelines.

LOADING a PHOTO
If you're continuing from Creating an Album, skip Section 1. Otherwise,
you go this route every time.
SECTION 1
Before you start, make sure you've got the photo you want to load
readily available. It'll be in a File on your computer - or maybe on
a CD. How to find it is detailed below.
Click on Photos in that blue box at the left.
You arrive at the page where the existing albums are
Click in the little box next to your own album title to select this
album<
Bottom left (where you clicked Create Album earlier) has the option
Add Photo
You see, you're getting it - you clicked on it didn't you?
SECTION 2
In the top section, the top box asks if you're adding to an existing album. By the time
you're creating new albums, you won't need these notes so we'll
stick with that option.
Skip down to the empty-boxes section
Top box says Photo 1. At the other side of the box - on my
computer - it says `Examinar'. If your computer speaks English,
it'll say `Browse' That just means `Should I look for the photo you
want?'
Click `Browse'
A pop-up window opens where you can browse through all the files on
your computer till you narrow it down to the one that actually holds
your photo. E.g. You could go: My photos - Horse photos - Lucio
photos
Open the file that holds your photo
The photos in that file are all listed by name or number
Click on the one you want - it will then appear in the box at the
bottom of the window
Click `Open' (I'm guessing here - mine says `Abrir')
A long file name now appears in that `Photo 1' box. Ignore it -
your computer knows what it's talking about, that's all that matters!
Fill in a name - your choice what you call it, and a description -
keep it quite short.
Bottom of the page: Click `Add Now' and you're done!
Feel free to write into the Group - we'd love to hear your views.
