RSS - what is it?

What Is RSS?
Those orange RSS and XML buttons are appearing around the Internet.
"RSS" means "Really Simple Syndication." It's your choice of your favorite parts of the Web, coming to you.

Just a quick headline, then you choose if you want to read further. No emails to open, no need to go out and check for updates all the time, no spam entries.

RSS brings you a brief note when a new page - and in our case a new horse - is added to the site. RSS is Žnext thing' on the Internet - and it's under your control.

How do you get started? Easy!

You can:

  • Subscribe directly through My Yahoo
  • Subscribe directly through MSN
  • Subscribe using Google Reader
  • Download some free software and widen your options
  • For My Yahoo, press this button

    For MSN press this button

    For Google
Google has added Google Reader, a Web-based RSS reader. It allows you to subscribe to RSS feeds and receive a notification when a Web site publishes an update.
